Booking Conditions

Validity

All prices are valid for travel as indicated on the applicable pricing schedule. Haumana Cruises reserves the right to change these prices without notice due to fluctuations in taxes, currency or other unforeseen circumstances.

Price Inclusions

The Haumana Cruises experience includes:

• Transfers from / to Rangiroa’s airport (or Kia Ora Hotel for guests booked there on a Pre or Post Cruise program)
• Meet and greet at Rangiroa’s airport
• Well-appointed cabins equipped with panoramic windows, private bathroom, hair-dryer, TV with DVD and CD players, toiletries, safe deposit box and mini bar, twice daily housekeeping
• All meals including our selection of complimentary wines for lunch and dinner
• All non alcoholic beverages
• Tea time and snacks
• Our Haumana activities: fishing and all the tackle supplied, free use of kayaks and snorkeling equipment, local onboard entertainment
• Haumana excursions
• Free access to the onboard DVD library
• All port charges and local taxes
  

Not Included

• Transportation to/from Rangiroa
• Optional activities and excursions (dives, jet ski and private tours requests)
• Wines from our premium cellar and liquors

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in time is 2:00 p.m. ; check-out time is 9:00 a.m.

Booking & Payment Policy

To confirm reservations, Haumana Cruises requires a deposit of not less than 50% of the total cruise value. Full payment should be received 30 days prior to cruise departure date. For Early Bookings – full payment must be received by Tahiti Cruises at least 120 days prior to departure.

Cancellation Policy

• 10% cancellation fee will apply for cancellation 90 days prior to cruise departure date
• 25% cancellation fee will apply for cancellation 60 days prior to cruise departure date
• 50% cancellation fee will apply for cancellation 30 days prior to cruise departure date
• 100% cancellation fee will apply for cancellation 15 days prior to cruise departure date

Refund Policy

No refund will be made for whole or partial cruise components not utilized after departure. Should cancellation be the fact of Haumana Cruises, guests will be accommodated by Haumana Cruises, free of charge, in the best properties available. (this should not exceed the total amount of the cruise paid by the guest).

Currency

Reference pricing for cruises is the EURO which is linked by a fixed exchange of to the French Pacific Franc (CFP) and either currency is valid. All payments should be received in EURO.

Taxes

Prices quoted include French Polynesia’s VAT (valued added tax) as well as the tourism taxes applied by each island visited. These prices are subject to changes and Haumana Cruises reserves the right to amend pricing should there be any increase in these taxes or should the Government implement any additional taxes.

Program Changes

Haumana Cruises priority is guests’ safety and comfort. Weather and other unforeseen circumstances may impose program changes, or in exceptional cases, total cancellation. Therefore, changes in daily schedules and areas visited can be made and may not always be communicated in advance of the sailing. No refunds will be made for any published inclusions that may not operate due to either one or a combination of the aforementioned conditions. Should there be any problem known in advance of the sailing, resulting in itinerary / program changes, Haumana Cruises will advise accordingly.

Haumana Cruises is unable to accept any responsibility for loss, damage or expense due to delays or changes in cruise schedules that would result from sickness, weather, strikes, war or other unforeseen causes.

Force Majeure

If for any reason beyond its control, Haumana Cruises is unable to perform any obligation within this agreement and such failure is caused by Acts of God or nature, war, strikes, fire, Government regulations, disaster, civil disorder, curtailment of transportation facilities or any other extraordinary occurrences making it illegal or impossible to provide or use Haumana Cruises facilities, such non-performance is excused and Haumana Cruises may terminate reservations without further liability other than the return of client’s deposited funds.

Indemnification

Haumana Cruises Customer will indemnify and hold harmless Haumana Cruises and its associated companies from all losses, damages, liabilities and expenses which may arise or be claimed against Haumana Cruises, and be in favor of any persons, firms, corporations, for any injuries or damages to the person or property of any firms or corporations consequent upon or arising from any acts, omissions, negligence or fault by Haumana Cruises Customer failure to comply with laws, statutes, ordinance codes or regulations. Haumana Cruises shall not be liable to Haumana Cruises Customer for any damages, losses or injuries to persons, customers or property of Haumana Cruises Customer, which may be caused by the acts, negligence, omissions or faults of any persons, firms or corporations except when such injury, loss or damages results from negligence of Haumana Cruises, its agents or employees.

Travel Insurance

Haumana Cruises strongly recommends that all travelers follow travel industry recommendations and purchase a travel insurance, that is relevant to the journey undertaken, purchased from a reputable insurance company.
